Yak Sport operates this customer portal. We are a sports travel agency operating across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, and the United Kingdom. As the data controller, we are responsible for how your personal data is collected, stored, and used.
2. What data we collect
We collect the information you provided when enquiring about a sports travel package: your name, email address, phone number, club name, and travel preferences. We also collect your email address for portal login purposes. We do not collect payment details through this portal.
3. Why we process your data
Your data is processed to: (a) prepare and present travel offers tailored to your requirements; (b) allow you to securely log in to review, accept, or request changes to your offers; (c) communicate with you about your booking. The legal basis is the performance of a pre-contractual or contractual relationship (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in providing you with a smooth service (Article 6(1)(f)).
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area (Frankfurt, Germany). We use Supabase for authentication — their infrastructure is GDPR-compliant and EU-hosted. No data is transferred outside the EEA without adequate safeguards.
5. How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above. If no booking is made following an offer, we delete enquiry data after 24 months. If a booking is made, we retain data for 5 years for accounting and legal compliance, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten); restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
7. Cookies
This portal uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the portal to function and does not track you across other websites. It expires after 7 days of inactivity.
